Please read carefully before confirming your advertisement booking with Home & Country Magazines.
Booking Confirmation
All advertisements are accepted on the understanding that the advertiser or their appointed agency has read and agreed to these terms. A booking is only confirmed once written confirmation has been issued by Home & Country Magazines and the agreed deposit or full payment has been received.
Artwork & Deadlines
Artwork must be supplied in accordance with the technical specifications outlined on the website. The artwork deadline is strictly 14 days prior to the publication date. Late artwork may incur a £50 surcharge or, at our discretion, may be held over to the next issue without refund. Home & Country Magazines accepts no responsibility for reproduction quality of artwork supplied that does not meet the stated specifications.
Design Service
Where design services are requested, artwork will be produced by our team and a proof will be emailed for approval. The advertiser must approve the proof in writing (email acceptable) by the artwork deadline. If no approval is received, we reserve the right to publish the advertisement as last proofed or withhold it from the issue.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellations must be received in writing no less than 21 days before the publication date. Cancellations made within 21 days of publication are liable for the full cost of the advertisement. Multi issue bookings may be cancelled at any point, however the discount applied will be recalculated retrospectively based on the number of issues actually published, and the difference invoiced.
Payment Terms
Invoices are issued upon booking confirmation and are due for payment within 14 days of the invoice date, unless a monthly payment plan has been agreed in writing. Multi issue bookings may be paid monthly by arrangement. Non-payment by the due date may result in the advertisement being withheld from publication.
Placement
Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate specific placement requests, Home & Country Magazines cannot guarantee exact page positioning unless a premium position (OBC, IFC, IBC) has been booked and paid for. We reserve the right to reposition advertisements at our discretion.
Content & Liability
Home & Country Magazines reserves the right to refuse, amend, or withdraw any advertisement at any time. The advertiser warrants that all advertisement content is legal, decent, honest, and truthful, and does not infringe any third party rights, including copyright. The advertiser agrees to indemnify Home & Country Magazines against any claims, costs, or damages arising from the content of their advertisement.
Distribution
Home & Country Magazines commits to its verified distribution network as stated in this media pack. However, we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to Royal Mail delays, weather disruption, or unforeseen circumstances affecting distribution.
Data Protection
All personal data supplied by the advertiser will be held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data will be used solely for the purpose of administering your advertisement and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
These terms and conditions form part of the contract between Home & Country Magazines and the advertiser. Home & Country Magazines reserves the right to amend these terms at any time; the version current at the date of booking will apply.
